Well, it's now been two full years, since baby Leroy came home with me. Bren, you did a fabulous job of socializing him; I think of you, often. I kept up with all the advice you gave me, ever so patiently, about how to raise my baby Parrotlet, and it all worked! I feed him like a king, handle him every day, and he is a sweetheart. He says, "Step!" and "That's your supper!" and "Nice bird!" He is completely bonded to me, but goes willingly to the rest of my family. I have trained him to fly across the room to me, on command, which is very rewarding. Thanks for giving Leroy the best start possible! Best wishes, Lori & Leroy
Love love love my Pippin! He has been the most incredible addition to the family. His antics are hilarious and his intelligence is so mind-boggling!!! (If that's even a word... lol). I would highly recommend anyone who wants a bird to purchase from Sunridge. Pippin talks and does so many tricks. I love him to bits!! He'll be a year old in a couple of weeks... time flies!!
Just wanted to say that we couldn't have picked a better breeder for getting our caique! Taz has settled in very nicely, and we are enjoying all the new things we see him do every day! I couldn't imagine not having him in our family now!
You're baby parrotlet's are so cute. I'm interested in the last little powder blue Parrotlet. I've also emailed you via Kiiji. I have 8 budgies, 2 love birds and 2 Persian Canaries....would love to have this little guy.
Just wanted to say thank's for the 2 beautiful healthy pastel blue baby Parrotlets. Boy do they love to eat ! You do a fantastic job at breeding and raising birds.
We have found the the sweetest little friend and we've named him Angel. Thank you so much for doing such a great job on him and all the advice. We love him to pieces.
To anyone thinking about acquiring a feathered friend I highly recommend Sunridge Aviary. Their professionalism, experience and genuine caring have made it a pleasure for us.
I was researching parrotlets and came across your site. I haven't had a bird as part of the family yet, so I figure a thorough education is critical! My main concern is our 3 indoor/outdoor cats. I can keep a bird separate in my office, with the hopes of some VERY supervised outings into the rest of the house, down the road when the wee bird is well acclimatized. Feedback would be much appreciated!
